They are based around ISO 9001 and its guidance on software; ISO 90003.
By using specialist source control and project management software, we are able to accurately plan and monitor project progress and maintain the highest level of embedded software development quality. This professional tool also enables us to closely manage bug tracking and customer feedback and requests.
To ensure that you receive the highest level of customer service, and to maintain our embedded software development quality standards, project reviews are carried out by the directors during the life of the project as agreed with you.

Our Quality Policy
Applied Software Engineering Limited (ASE) provides embedded software engineering services, which may extend over all or part of the development lifecycle and may include the development of associated hardware and test facilities.
The management and employees of ASE maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) that conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ensuring that we provide and maintain a consistently high quality in all the work that we undertake.
The directors of ASE are committed to ensuring that the ethos of providing high-quality design and engineering services to our customers is truly embedded within the organisation, and that quality standards are set that meet the specified requirements and expectations of all ASE’s customers.
Under the leadership of the directors, all employees of ASE are required to promote the values, principles and aims of this quality policy and are required to familiarise themselves with the contents of the QMS. Quality is the acknowledged responsibility of everyone in the company; the directors and employees of ASE are committed to continually improving the effectiveness of the QMS and sharing our enthusiasm for the pursuance of excellence.
ASE has assigned a Quality Manager, who is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the correct and effective implementation of the QMS.
This policy is reviewed annually during the Management Review.
Software guarantee
To demonstrate to you that we are confident in the code we produce, and the hardware designs we develop, the majority of all our contracts are done on a fixed price basis.
We also offer a one year guarantee on all our software.
Accreditation standards
Because we are passionate about our embedded software development quality, we maintain accreditation to the standards necessary to ensure that all the industries we serve can rely on the quality of our products. Standards which we are accredited to, or can produce products compliant with, include:
